Are you in Florida and considering adoption for your child? There can be many questions coming to your mind regarding the adoption process.
“How to make an adoption plan that suits my baby and me?” “How will I know that an adoptive family will take good care of my child?” “Who will guide me in making an adoption plan?”
It’s completely normal to get overwhelmed with this situation. Remember, you are not alone. You can contact a Florida-based adoption agency or an adoption law firm. If you are pregnant and considering giving up your baby for adoption in Florida, The Adoption Law Offices of Madonna M. Finney is ready to guide you through this journey.
Remember, contacting us will in no way obligate you to choose adoption, and there is no cost to do so. You can give us a call or text us to discuss the adoption process in-depth confidentially.
Adoption Options
Expectant mothers mostly opt for openness in their adoptions, allowing them contact with the adoptive family and the child even after adoption. However, for many reasons, a mother may still prefer a more closed adoption, with little to no contact with the adoptive family.
Choose An Adoptive Family
We believe a mother is best positioned to decide what type of adoptive family is best for her child. Our social worker will help you identify families with the qualities you seek for your child, and you may select the family yourself. If you do not wish to select the family, we can do that for you.
Create a Hospital Birth Plan
Once the adoptive family has been selected, and as you get closer to the child’s birth, an adoption counselor will help you create a hospital plan. Our social worker will help you consider all the options, including what, if any, interaction you would like to have with the adoptive family while at the hospital.
Post Placement Counseling
The adoption professionals at The Law Offices of Madonna M. Finney are ready to assist you in moving forward in a positive way post-adoption. We maintain contact with many of the woman who has entrusted us to place their child for adoption. We offer a virtual support group you are welcome to participate in.
