Every day, we receive phone calls and text messages from women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Just the other day, we had one woman ask us, “How Much Does it Cost to Give My Baby Up For Adoption in Florida?”
That’s a good question!
With us, it costs nothing to “give your baby up for adoption in Florida.” Our adoption services are offered without charge to birth families. In fact, you may even be eligible for certain services or assistance, if needed.
Common Birth Mother Services and Assistance include:
Options Counseling – If you’re considering adoption while facing an unplanned pregnancy, our adoption social workers and case managers are available without charge. The Adoption Law Office of Madonna M. Finney has been assisting women facing unwanted and unplanned pregnancies for over 20 years.
Help Formulating Your Adoption Plan – There are a variety of options available for you, and we can help you formulate an adoption plan that suits you best and fulfills your needs during this trying time. We want you to feel confident about the plan you design for you and your child.
Finding the Right Adoptive Family – Our caring adoption social workers and case managers will help you find the right family for you and your child. We will explore your desires for an adoptive family with you and present pre-screened, home study-approved families who meet your needs. You may choose your child’s adoptive family, communicate with them, and even meet them if you’d like.
Medical Care – If you don’t already have quality medical care and counseling in place, we will happily help you locate and arrange that care. We believe regular medical care and counseling are vital for your health and that of your child.
Counseling – Our caring social work staff offers free counseling before and after delivery. We also offer a support group open to all women who have placed a child for adoption.
Birth Mother Benefits – An unwanted or unplanned pregnancy can be overwhelming, financially, and emotionally. Depending on your individual needs, and in some instances the approval of the court, we can assist you with living expenses that you are otherwise unable to obtain. These benefits can include assistance with rent, utilities, food, toiletries, phone service, transportation, needed clothing, medical care, medications, and counseling.
Again, all of these services are available, without charge, to expectant mothers making a plan for adoption. We offer these services with care, concern, and a personal touch. We’re available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call or text us (850) 308-1836.
