The Law Offices of Madonna M. Finney wanted to take a moment to discuss how the coronavirus outbreak affects the adoption process and the plan that you may be making or considering for your child.
First and foremost, our team of adoption professionals will continue to be available to you 24/7 via our talk and text line at 850-308-1836. We can text, talk over the phone, arrange a video chat or meet-in-person on an individual, as-needed basis.
Despite social distancing measures, we are still able to work with you to discuss your options. If you do end up choosing adoption, we’ll continue to have the full capacity to discuss the type of adoption you are interested in and make an adoption plan for your child.
For those who are currently matched with families, we have reached out to OB offices and hospitals, in an effort to best assist you while you are attending doctor’s visits and eventually delivering your baby. Some hospitals have enacted limited visitor policies. However, they are working with us on a case-by-case basis to establish plans for birth parents and adoptive families. Remember, we also offer free counseling to expectant mothers and birth mothers. This may be helpful if you’re experiencing anxiety during this trying time, or if you simply need someone to talk to about your situation.
Feel free to message us directly on Facebook or Instagram, and follow us for tips and pointers on how to stay grounded and mindful during this unfamiliar time.
